Chandi Dharmaratne is the Senior Director of Human Resources at Virtusa Pvt. Ltd. She is responsible for the professional development and engagement of approximately 3,500+ employees in Sri Lanka. In addition, she heads the internalization of Robotics Process Automation in HR globally.
Chandi was awarded the HR Leadership Award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress in 2014 and was recognized as Echelon Magazine’s list of 50 Most Powerful Women in Sri Lanka (2015). In 2016, Chandi was conferred the Women Leadership Achievement Award by the World Women Leadership Congress.
Chandi has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and her Master’s in Business Administration and has also attended executive education programs conducted by the INSEAD business school.
In addition, Chandi serves as a board director of SLASSCOM, an advisory board member of AIESEC Sri Lanka, a committee member of the Association of Human Resource Professionals, a member of the Business Advisory Group (USAID), an advisory member of the sector committee on National Export Strategy for the IT/BPM sector and is the immediate past president of the American Alumni Association of Sri Lanka.
Shanaka Fernando is the General Manager – Human Resources at WNS Global Services (Pvt) Ltd and heading the Human Resources, Learning & Development (L&D) and Administration functions for the WNS Sri Lanka Operations. Further, he was appointed as a Director to the Board of Director of WNS Sri Lanka in December 2014. Shanaka has been with the WNS Group for over 14 years, possesses 23 years of rich management experience covering Service, Manufacturing, Conglomerates, and BPM sectors.
Inoka is the Head of Human Resources at Pearson Lanka Pvt. Ltd. She is an Human Resource practitioner with wide exposure to the profession and a set of skills acquired across four key industries: Hospitality, FMCG, IT and Banking, in organisations such as John Keells Holdings, Unilever Sri Lanka, Virtusa Pvt. Ltd and Union Bank of Colombo PLC. She has played multiple roles in the HR life-cycle as a Specialist, in Service Delivery and Business Partnering.
She has a B. A. English (Hons.) from the University of Delhi, India an MBA from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and an MSc. in Business Psychology from Heriot Watt University, UK. She serves as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Colombo occasionally when practitioner input is required for academic programmes.
Inoka is also a certified Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Lasantha Dasanayaka is the Vice President - Human Resources and Learning & Development at the HSBC Global Service Centre in Sri Lanka.
He has been at various positions within the HSBC Group for over 11 years. Lasantha has over 19 years of work experience in various corporate sectors such as the Aviation industry, Service industry and the Manufacturing sector.
