Former Dean and currently a Professor of Management at the SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell University. He is the co-editor of the Global Information Technology Report, published by the World Economic Forum and the founder of the Global Innovation Index, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization - two influential reports in technology and innovation policy. Previously, he has served for over two decades as the Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Dr Romesh Ranawana is the co-founder of SimCentric Technologies, a world leader in Simulation-based training software. Romesh is the Managing Director and Chief Technical Officer of Simcentric Technologies where he continues to lead design and development of SimCentric’s product line.
SimCentric’s simulation products are presently used by more than 20 militaries (including the US Marine Corps and Army, many NATO militaries, and Asian militaries such as the Singapore MOD, in addition to over 50 industrial customers including Boeing, Lockhead Martin and Airbus).
Romesh is a Clarendon Scholar with a Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford and a holds a 1st Class Degree in Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya.
Rasika is the Vice President, General Manager and Head of Shared Services at Sysco LABS in Sri Lanka and played a key role in launching the Sysco LABS Sri Lanka operation and growing it to a high caliber engineering organization over the last several years. He has over 20 years’ experience in strategic and operational leadership, management of offshore engineering and support operations, delivery of multimillion-dollar hardware, software and infrastructure programmes and global shared services operations. Prior to Sysco LABS, he was Service Delivery Manager at Millennium IT (London Stock Exchange Group) where he led delivery for some of the company’s largest capital markets exchanges in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Rasika has a BSc in Computer Science from the Manchester Metropolitan University, an MBA from the University of Hull, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
